Overview

Income Generation

Charities generate income in a number of different ways. Firstly, we will explore alternative funding options and the various options that are available such as social investment or trading subsidiaries. We will then look at the fundraiser’s perspective and the role that the fundraiser plays within a charity. 
We have also revamped the format of our members meetings to make them more discursive and allow members more time to learn from and share experiences with peers. 

Join us at the first Northern members’ meeting for 2017 and find out whether there are new ways your charity might diversify its income.

Government budget cuts, regulation changes and the general economic climate have put pressure on charities’ finances. To adapt, charities have been looking to find new ways of generating income.  In this session discover some effective methods of income generation and how they may apply to your charity.

Integrating fundraising into your organisation

Fundraising covers a wide range of activities including individual giving, mass participation events and street canvasing. In smaller organisations, it is often one person who takes on organising all of these activities. This session will explore a fundraiser’s perspective and give an insight into how they can fit within your organisation.

Terms and Conditions:

Written notice of cancellations up to 21 days before an event will incur a 25% administration fee. After this time period, a 100% cancellation charge will apply. Substitutions (i.e. name changes) for the course booked can be made free of charge.

CFG reserves the right to cancel any event two weeks prior to the event date. You will be entitled to a full refund or given the opportunity to transfer to an alternative date. However we regret that we cannot refund any travel or accommodation costs incurred by delegates. CFG accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond our reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the date, time or the venue at any time prior to the event date. If this occurs you will be informed of changes and given the opportunity to cancel or transfer to an alternative date.

CFG reserves the right to amend the content of the programme or the speakers where necessary without consulting booked delegates.
