Finance in Grantmaking Special Interest Group (FGSIG)
Finance in Grantmaking Special Interest Group (FGSIG) has been established as a partnership of Charity Finance Group (CFG) and the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF).
With more and more members of CFG & ACF requesting tailored services and support, and with CFG’s financial knowledge and ACF’s specific sector knowledge, this group has been started to promote general co-operation and exchange of ideas between individuals in grant making organisations so that they can:
- Make the most of their charitable resources
- Resolve problems
- Avoid duplication
- Develop finance skills
- Improve performance.
The group will provide networking opportunities and the chance to share experiences with organisations similar to you. The group will be of interest to those staff responsible for financial management in trusts, foundations or grant-making charities of all sizes.
Group membership and event attendance is open only to members of CFG or ACF.
The group will meet throughout the year to discuss topical issues, network and debate key issues.
The first meeting will focus on ‘how finance and grant making teams can best work together, providing case studies with different models and approaches.
