What we're looking for

We’re looking for teams who have chosen, implemented and used technology in a way that adds real value, improves efficiency and supports their charitable mission. The winning entry will show that technology has been used to:

- solve real problems and make finance processes work better.

- give clearer, more timely financial insight.

- connect systems so information flows properly across the organisation.

- deliver a clear return on investment (ROI) – including the cost of people/time spent on implementation and change, not just software fees.

- support good stewardship, accountability and decision-making
in a way that is ethical, responsible and accessible.

Entrants should show how the different tools they use – from their main finance system to reporting, payments and data tools – work well together and genuinely help the organisation.

Small charities warmly invited

We actively encourage entries from small charities, including teams with limited budgets, small headcounts (even a team of one counts!) or part‑time/volunteer support.

Judging will adjust to your size and resources, focusing on proportional impact, ingenuity and sustainable change.

You don’t need complex metrics. Simple evidence (e.g. hours saved per month, reduced errors, faster reporting cycles, clearer trustee decisions, staff feedback) is valid. Low/no‑cost tools, smart integrations and practical workarounds are all welcome.
