What we’re looking for

The winning organisation will show that financial reporting excellence is embedded in its culture. Beyond technical accuracy, and full SORP compliance where relevant, they will demonstrate how financial information is used year-round and is used to:

- tell a coherent and compelling story about the charity’s work.

- connect financial data with mission delivery and impact.

- strengthen accountability to beneficiaries, donors, funders and other stakeholders.

- support forward looking decision making, risk management and long-term financial sustainability.

- make complex information accessible, transparent and engaging.

Entrants should show how they transform raw data into meaningful insight that informs strategy, drives performance and enhances stakeholder confidence.

Small charities warmly invited

We actively encourage entries from small charities – including teams with limited budgets, small headcounts (even a team of one counts!), or part‑time/volunteer support.

Judges will calibrate to your size and resources, focusing on clarity, proportional impact, good stewardship, and practical improvements.

You don’t need complex metrics. See below for ideas on what to submit. Simple examples in the form of screenshots, PDFs, presentations etc are all acceptable.
