The Transformation Collaborative (TTC) is a dynamic group of people focused on the sustainable and impactful futures of all for-purpose and charitable organisations across the UK and beyond. And we want you to be part of it!
TTC works in two ways: Transforming You; Transforming Our Sector:
Transforming You
The greatest changes start from within. Alongside small groups of peers, you’ll tackle real-life challenges and map out a journey of transformation for you and your organisation. It’s about taking those small, sustainable actions that, when brought together, create lasting change.
Transforming Our Sector
As part of this group of social sector leaders you’ll focus on the bigger picture – the issues that need addressing for the financial health of the wider social and charitable sector.
It’s about the impact we create beyond our own four walls, speaking with the most impactful voice possible and making systemic change happen for the benefit of all.

Transforming You
As a member of Transforming You*, you’ll join small peer groups of up to eight experienced charity leaders to share issues, ask insightful questions and find solutions. It’s like having your own personal board of advisors.
What you can expect:
- You’ll participate in action learning sets tailored for personal development and organisational growth.
- Meet with your group approximately eight times per year for facilitator-led sessions that are shaped around the needs of you and your organisation.
- Grow with others along the way with a structured approach to topic selection and learning. You will be a vital part of every solution.
- Feel confident exploring practical outcomes and insights in an environment that’s supportive, confidential and safe. Meetings will operate under Chatham House Rule.
Driven by the group’s needs, from time to time we will use our power to convene to bring in expert speakers, to inspire you with their experiences.
The Transforming You element of TTC gives you an automatic place on the wider Transforming Our Sector element.
The action learning sets are a paid-for product - please refer to the booking form for prices. This is a paid-for opportunity which supports TTC’s activities.

*Membership of Transforming You is currently for C-suite or equivalent level leaders working in organisations with an annual income of £10m or above. As the success of The Transformation Collaborative grows, we hope to extend the programme to other leaders and charities, so please watch this space!
Transforming Our Sector
With a focus on the bigger picture, Transforming Our Sector will drive financial sustainability, innovation and new models for operating. We’re using our power to convene to bring leaders from the for-purpose and charitable sector together with time, space and support to set the agenda and work together for lasting change.
This group will bring together experienced leaders, members of Transforming You and others to identify and tackle the big financial sustainability and impact issues of the day.
Members of Transforming Our Sector will be invited to:
- Join quarterly world café meetings and gather with leaders from across the sector.
- Work in collaboration with sector bodies and, where relevant, government, regulators and others vital to shaping the sector’s future financial sustainability and the operating environment.
- Identify the topics and set the agenda you want to see.
- Expand networks and enjoy social and networking occasions with TTC members and supporters.
- Attend an annual ‘summit’ to collaborate with those who can influence and shape change.
Transforming Our Sector will work with the government, regulators and others who can help find those lasting solutions and will be collaborating with colleagues across civil society.
This element of CFG's Transformation Collaborative does not carry a membership fee.

Transparent funding and fees
We want to be transparent and clear about how we use the funds that our membership and subscription fees generate.
To sustainably deliver The Transformation Collaborative, we have been creative in developing a model that will support TTC's work on an ongoing basis, and we will work in partnership with others, wherever we can, using our power to convene.
An annual membership fee is payable when you join the join Transforming You group. The cost is based on the annual income of the organisation you work for.
The funds generated by the Transforming You group will be used to support the group's activities and also the wider work of TTC, including the activities of the Transforming Our Sector and related policy work.
Transforming Our Sector is not chargeable and will incur no cost to you or your organisation. You will not be asked to pay a fee at any point.
From time to time, we may undertake fundraising activities to support TTC's work and have created a mechanism for those who wish to support this work through donations and/or grant funding.
