Award entry criteria

Before you enter this year's awards, please read our award entry criteria carefully:

About you/your nominee(s)

· You are welcome to nominate yourself, your team, or to submit a nomination on behalf of another individual or organisation.

· You/your organisation do not need to be a CFG member to enter the awards.

· Entries are open exclusively to UK-registered charities.

· Charities of all sizes are encouraged to enter. We warmly welcome nominations from, or on behalf of, small charities.

About the Awards and Awards Dinner

· All entries must be submitted through the official awards entry form by the deadline of 11:59hr, Thursday 7 May.

· You may enter multiple award categories.

· If you are nominating someone else, please ensure you have their permission and that they are able to attend the Annual Dinner and Awards event on Thursday 8 October in London. Find out more here.

· If you are nominating yourself or your team, please save the date.

· Individual award winners are invited to attend and bring one guest.

- Team award winners will receive up to three places at the event.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no feedback can be provided on individual submissions.

· If you require accessibility adjustments (for completing the entry or attending the event), please let us know – we are committed to making the awards inclusive and accessible.

Awards marketing and communications

· By entering the awards, nominees agree that CFG may use information from their submission (such as organisation name, summary of work, project details, and quotes) for awards-related communications and publicity.

· CFG will not publish sensitive or personal information.

· All finalists will be required to provide at least one high‑resolution photograph for use in marketing and communications (e.g., website, social media, emails, press releases, event materials).

· Images should be copyright‑free for CFG’s use, or nominees must confirm they have permission for CFG to publish them.

· CFG may also take photographs and video during the Annual Dinner and Awards event. By attending, finalists and guests acknowledge that they may appear in event photography and videography which may be used for promotional purposes.

· CFG may request a short quote or testimonial from finalists or winners to support awards coverage and future promotion.
