Simon Hopkins, CEO of Turn2us, Arati Patel, Director of Finance and Operations at Barts Charity and Liz Fozbury, COO at the Royal National Theatre have been elected.
All elected have been elected for three years with the possibility of re-election for another three years.
Rosie Chapman, an appointed trustee, will also step down after reaching the end of her maximum six years’ tenure although she will remain involved as a member of CFG’s Nomination Committee. Trustees will select her replacement at a later date.
Nicki Deeson, Chair of Charity Finance Group, said:
“I am grateful to all members who voted in recent elections; your engagement with CFG is so important to us. I am delighted to be welcoming in three new member elected trustees to replace three colleagues who have come to the end of their second terms.
We bid a fond farewell and offer our sincere thanks to Diane Bassett, Kevin Barnes and Ian Theodoreson who have served the charity wonderfully over the last 6 years and have all held office at one time or another. We are thrilled to welcome Simon Hopkins, CEO of Turn2us, Arati Patel, Director of Finance and Operations at Barts Charity and Liz Fozbury, the COO at the Royal National Theatre and former independent member of our Finance & Audit Committee.
We also offer huge thanks to Rosie Chapman, who has served 2 terms as an appointed trustee of CFG. I’m pleased to say that we don’t need to say goodbye as Rosie will continue to lend us her expertise as part of our nomination committee. Plans to appoint Rosie’s successor are in place.”
