Why should I attend?

The Charity Investment Governance Principles (CIGP) are launching early in 2025 with this free event. This panel style session will give you the opportunity to ask questions and hear about the principles directly from those involved in its creation. 

The Charity Investment Governance Principles (CIGP): 

  • The CIGP explore best practices in decision-making around charity investments, and has drawn heavily from the experiences, insights and input from charitable organisations across England and Wales. 

  • The CIGP reflects the outcomes of the high-profile Butler-Sloss case of 2022, and compliments the Charity Commission's CC14 guidance and Charity Governance code. 

  • The CIGP principles has been a collaboration between multiple bodies, with CFG playing one part alongside many organisations within the charitable sector (please see the full list below).*

This event is free and relevant for all charitable organisations that operate with investments.
