CFG’s popular Risk conference covers the full scope of risk management in the non profit sector, from exploring reputational risk to practical workshops, helping you and your organisation to develop understanding and knowledge, be responsive, and support robust decision-making processes. The theme of the second day in our Risk 2021 series is regulatory and practical risks. We’ll be joined by Alzheimer’s Society CEO Kate Lee who explores reputation risk; Head of Fraud Advisory Panel Mia Campbell will be taking you through the fraud landscape, and specialists Joanna Blackman and Claris D’cruz from Wrigleys Solicitors will be running a workshop on safeguarding.

Even the smallest dent to a charity’s reputation can have a huge impact on public trust and funding. This session will focus on how to keep your public trust at a high level, prepare for potential threats to reputation, and how to manage damage.

Fraud

As everyone is aware charities are not impervious to fraud. Fraud can be committed by someone within your charity (internal fraud) as well as by people that are not directly involved in the organisation (external fraud).

This session is designed to help you identify what steps you can take to prevent your charity from fraud and outline what actions you need to take if your charity has been defrauded.
