Summer Members Meeting

This event is fully booked.

Feeling like your processes and technology are becoming more burdensome than helpful? We have the perfect free-for-members event for you with our Annual Summers Members' Meeting.

In order to crack how to become more efficient with technology, we have two exciting discussions lined up from Asthma + Lung UK and Iplicit. Our Summer Members' Meeting also serves as an amazing opportunity to connect and network with your peers and colleagues in the charity finance space.

What does this event cover?

We have two key sessions:

  • Session one - Financial sustainability: Run by Mark Salway and Paul Sparkes from Iplicit, this session will provide you with better understanding of your charity’s business model and what drives it. They will also advise on how to improve your management information - what is important and what to record and explore how your finance systems can improve visibility and organisational performance.
  • Session two - Technology enabled change: utilising the case study of the Asthma + Lung UK merger, Ben Clarkson will take you through how technology played a major part in the successful integration of two unique charities into one seamless body. The combination of multiple CRM systems, websites, and more is no easy task, but there is an efficient way to streamline these resources. Whether you're undergoing something similar or simply want to get some advice around improving the efficiency of your systems, Ben will have you covered

The full details for the sessions are in the programme below.

Ben will tell the story of the role that technology has played in making the merger a success and share case studies focussing on some of the more significant change pieces, such as their transition from multiple websites to a single new site, and from two old CRM systems into one single new one.
