Following the publication of the final SORP on Friday 31 October 2025, CFG urged charities to 'prepare, not panic'.
CFG's Head of Policy, Richard Sagar, also produced a short guide to all the changes which the sector will need to be aware of and highlighted CFG's initial thoughts on the final SORP publication.

As the go-to body for charity finance, and having been instrumental in the formation of the original SORP, CFG has:
During the consultation phase

- Engaged with charities, partners and other interested parties and experts through a series of consultation meetings and roundtables, convened by CFG.
- Engaged with stakeholders through their own events and meetings, to share CFG’s insights and updates.
