My name’s Simon Perks and I’m the founder and managing director of Simon Perks & Company. I’m a specialist financial consultant, trainer and troubleshooter working exclusively with purpose-driven organisations across the public, not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors.
I’m a chartered management consultant, a chartered public finance accountant and a qualified executive coach. So I understand numbers, I understand people and I understand organisations.
I provide my clients with a range of carefully-crafted services, including:
- Specialist financial consultancy support that generates new insight, that helps them to make informed and evidence-based decisions and that drives positive and sustained organisational change.
- Engaging and high-impact financial training and one-to-one coaching that helps managers, senior leaders and trustees to make better decisions and to address financial matters with confidence.
- Financial troubleshooting that helps my clients to take swift action when there’s an urgent challenge in their organisation or in one that they regulate or fund. Sensitively, discreetly and with the minimum of fuss.
My work encompasses things like financial strategy and management, financial analysis and modelling, organisational transformation, cost reviews, activity portfolio analysis, financial governance, business model innovation and other themes with a financial focus.
I have a ‘big four’ background and twenty five years’ experience of working with charities large and small, as well as with government bodies, international institutions, universities, local authorities, sports development bodies and many more.
I’m based in Somerset but work across the UK and internationally.
