"This is very sad news for all the staff and trustees at DSC and our thoughts are with them. DSC has been a support to countless charitable organisations over its 50 year history and has made a significant contribution to knowledge, professionalism and leadership for our sector.
"The steady stream of charities closing shows just how much financial strain the sector is under. Infrastructure organisations are not immune from those pressures. Infrastructure bodies connect and strengthen the sector, drive policy to improve our operating environment, and provide much-needed support for charities of all shapes and sizes, across the whole country. Without them, it would be far harder for the entire sector, to the detriment of the people and communities we all serve."
