The session will cover key considerations for payroll reporting practicalities as well as compliant salary sacrifice schemes that can offer National Insurance savings for the third sector employers, as well as employee tax savings. As well as updated rules around holiday pay calculations, statutory payments, and emerging employment law considerations that are particularly relevant for organisations with mixed funding models and diverse workforce arrangements.

We will also examine common payroll risks faced by charities - such as managing grant‑funded roles, navigating different worker types, and ensuring accurate governance reporting as well as the responsibilities placed on trustees, senior leaders and finance teams.
