In-person event
This free-for-members in-person event will focus on international and overseas charitable organisations, which will also be perfect for our Overseas Special Interest Group members.
Why should I attend?
This event will be hosted as a collaborative workshop session, where we will be exploring financial resilience for international organisations given the current climate. The session will aim to provide real actionable points in collaboration with our event hosts Ebury.
So please join us as we:
- Gain a deeper understanding of how regulatory compliance, de-risking trends and global geopolitical shifts directly impact INGOs’ access to banking services and financial flows
- Identify common operational barriers in opening/maintaining accounts and making cross-border transfers and explore practical solutions to overcome them.
- Explore the tools available to mitigate the risk of donations and grants being eroded by market volatility and prevent the ‘leakage’ of funding from donor to end programmes.
- Receive insights into the banking sector's perspective on risk appetite and Know your Customer (KYC) procedures, helping you better prepare for engagement with financial institutions.
- Connect and network with peers, financial experts, and thought leaders to share experiences and collectively strategize for greater financial resilience.
