Financial management in turbulent times for international charities

Lost USAID funding and FCDO reductions are just the latest in a funding squeeze for international NGOs in recent times. A difficult public fundraising environment and ever-increasing competition for trust and foundation funding have led many to review their fundraising initiatives. But what does all this mean for those planning the organisation’s finances?

In this session, Buzzacott explore the responses to income risk including approaches to financial planning, reserves management and governance. Although we can’t magic up extra funding in this session, we can share approaches to managing these financial risks to help protect the charity’s finances and weather the storm.
