Refer a charitable organisation to CFG and save money

We would love your help in supporting CFG

Currently our community consists of over 11,000 charity finance professionals and experts. However, as CFG's primary objectives are to represent the sector on behalf of charity finance teams, and to build strong networks within the sector, we would love your support in helping to amplify the voice of CFG.

This is why why we are asking for your assistance in referring CFG membership to any relevant contacts you have in the sector, and to be an advocate for the CFG community.

For each new charity member you introduce, we’ll give you a voucher with 10% off a CFG course, meeting, event, conference or training (excluding Annual Conference and our Annual Awards Dinner) as a thank you, and there’s no limit on the number you can claim.

How do I claim the referral discount?

  • Let your contacts know about CFG, or direct them to our Charity membership page for more information about us
  • Have your contact mention your name and email to the team at membership@cfg.org.uk to let them know you're a CFG advocate
  • We will email you directly with your discount code

What do our members think about CFG?

"As a finance professional who moved from the commercial sector into the charity sector, CFG was invaluable in helping me navigate all the new things I was having to deal with. The training is second to none in the sector."

"CFG is a brilliant resource and excellent value for money."

"I find CFG an essential network to be in touch with finance professionals facing similar issues and challenges in the workplace, to be able to discuss and work through them together. Identifying areas where FDs can also add value in their role, through sharing resources and experience, is a fantastic support. As the sole finance professional in the charity I’m based in, the charity specific CPD and face-to-face networking events are also incredibly helpful and make my role slightly less isolated!"

What's the cost of CFG membership?

Membership is for an entire organisation, from new starters to trustees. You can sign up your entire team at no extra cost so that everyone can utilise the benefits on offer.

With the consideration that CFG membership provides a wide range of discounts, many CFG members actually save money with an annual membership.

Annual membership is based on an organisation’s gross income.

Gross income is based on the latest published annual income.
