Special Interest Groups
Connecting you with fellow professionals is one of our core aims. Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet regularly in a friendly and focused space to share knowledge, ideas and network. The number of groups is growing and we are always looking to develop more.
Our current special interest groups are:
- Finance in Grantmaking
- Large Charities

- Arts Sector
- Association of Independent Museums (AIM)

And, don’t miss our Guides for Small Charities, these are bite-sized back to basics guides which cover a range of topics relating to charity finance and leadership.
Influencing change together
CFG is committed to engaging with government, regulators and think-tanks, and working with others to improve the operating environment for all charities and social change organisations. We’re proud to be part of the conversations that matter, influencing and leading from the front. Our members are key to this vital work - add your voice and influence for a better future.
CFG is an active voice in and for the sector. Our charities and inflation event, took a deep dive into government announcements of direct relevance to the charity sector. You can learn more about our take on levelling up and charities, and read our response to a government consultation on restoring trust in audit and corporate governance. This is only a small sample of the work we undertake every day to amplify the voices of our members to help enable them to work in a positive environment.
