Gift Aid Awareness Day 2024 is on 3 October and for the first time, we are asking Members of Parliament to show their support for the campaign.
We invite you to join with us and thousands of charities across the UK to encourage as many UK taxpayers as possible to #TickTheBox when donating to charity.
We also want to make sure that more charities see how easy it is to register for Gift Aid and increase their income. In your constituency there are hundreds of registered charities, many of which are not signed up to claim Gift Aid with HMRC.
Each year, a massive £500m in Gift Aid goes unclaimed. Imagine the impact that money could have in your constituency and the country as a whole!
Please show your support on Thursday 3 October.
How to get involved in three easy ways:
1. Before 3 October, spread the word about Gift Aid and the campaign to your constituents. All the information you need is in our press release.
2. Publish a blog post/article about your support for Gift Aid and charities in your constituency. Use our sample article (below) as a template. We've also included a handy factsheet.
3. On the day, spread awareness on social media. Join with charities in your constituency by sharing social media posts on Gift Aid Awareness Day, Thursday October 03, 2024. See below.
We hope you’ll add your voice to this important campaign, to help increase funding for charities that are supporting people and communities across your constituency.
