Smart financial planning in times of uncertainty

This session will explore practical approaches to financial planning that help organisations remain resilient and adaptable. We will cover scenario planning, cashflow forecasting, reserves policy, cost recovery, and stress-testing budgets against different funding outcomes. Speakers will also examine how finance teams can support strategic decision-making, ensuring boards have the information and confidence to act early rather than react late.

Panel discussion - Practical, ethical & safe use of AI in the charity sector

This panel brings together sector leaders and digital experts to explore how AI can be used responsibly and effectively within charitable organisations. From drafting funding bids and analysing impact data to improving service delivery and automating admin, we’ll examine real-world use cases that are already delivering value. Crucially, the discussion will go beyond the hype. Panellists will address the ethical and governance considerations charities must navigate — including data protection, bias, safeguarding, transparency, and trustee oversight — and how to build internal confidence and clear AI policies.
