The Fundraising Regulator's long-anticipated fully redrafted Fundraising Code is now out for consultation. Charities and others are invited to view the new code, comment and join in the conversation.
The Fundraising Regulator has launched a consultation for the new draft Code of Fundraising Practice.
Charities, fundraisers and other stakeholders are urged to view and comment on the new code before 1 November 2024.
The consultation marks the third and final phase of the review process which began in 2022. It is expected that the new code will be published in early 2025, along with a timeline for implementation.
The consultation can be accessed via the regulator's website. There are 15 sections of the code, including the responsibilities of those who govern charitable institutions, processing donations, payroll giving and legacies.
Read the draft code and respond to the consultation.
