CFG is excited to announce the hiring of two new appointments to its leadership team.
Sue Hall (pictured above left) has been appointed as Interim Digital Transformation Director and Kath Qualtrough (above right) joins as Interim Finance Director.
Kath will be leading CFG’s finance operations. She will take over from Director of Finance and Operations Rui Domingues who, after four years with the CFG team, will be moving to a new role with London City Mission, a charity close to his heart.
With a strong background in the charity sector, spanning both national and international organisations, Kath brings a deep understanding of the unique financial challenges and opportunities facing charities.
Prior to joining CFG, Kath worked at Humentum and Bond, where she honed her skills in finance, people management, and strategic leadership.
Kath has been a dedicated CFG member for many years whilst working with both large and small charities throughout her career, including Greenpeace, the Wellcome Trust, Safe Passage International and as a trustee with the Blue Cross.
Kath commented: "I'm thrilled to now join CFG and contribute to the organisation's continued success. Having been a member for over 15 years, I've always admired CFG's commitment to supporting charity finance professionals.
“Strong financial management is essential for charities to achieve their missions, and I’m excited to use my experience working with a wide range of charities to help CFG.”
Sue also joins CFG on an interim basis to spearhead its digital transformation programme. Like Kath, Sue is long-standing CFG member with more than 20 years' experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
Sue is well-equipped to lead our digital transformation. Her previous roles at Parkinson's UK and Prostate Cancer UK have given her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing charities in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape. Sue has leveraged CFG's training, helplines, and networking opportunities to address challenges and enhance her skills.
Sue said: “In my previous roles CFG has provided the missing links for many staff in getting assurance over tricky finance issues and helping provide the knowledge that is not easily found via our professional organisations.
"I'm passionate about harnessing the power of digital technology to support charities in achieving their missions. I'm eager to work with CFG’s team to drive digital transformation and help create a more impactful charity sector."
